Omurice, or Japanese omelette rice, is a popular home-cooked dish originating in Japan. It is ketchup-flavored fried rice wrapped in a sheet of soft-cooked egg curds. Wrapping the fried rice is the most difficult part, but with the Naoko-sensei’s recipe, you can avoid the hassle. But still you can enjoy the best part of omurice: the savory ketchup rice and fluffy half-cooked eggs.

□ 2 tbps ketchup
□ 1/2 beef broth cube, crushed
□ 1/8 a onion, chopped
□ 1/4 piece of chicken thigh, chopped
□ 1/2 green beans, cut into 5mm after boiled.
*Boil a pack of green beans and use the rest for salad.

□ 1/3 bundle simeji mushrooms, cut into 1cm
*You can use your favorite mushrooms such as shitake and white or brawn mushrooms.
□ 20g butter
□ 2 rice bowls of steamed rice
□ Garlic powder, vegetable oil

1.Put oil in a frypan, and stir fry chicken over medium heat. Add chopped onions and stir-fry them until softened.
If you want to cook the onions faster, microwave the onions for 30 seconds at 600 watts beforehand. あらかじめ電子レンジ 600wで30秒加熱しておくと早く火が通りますよ。

2. Combine shimenji mushrooms and sprinkle beef broth cube over it.

3. After all the ingredients are cooked, add 1 tbsp of ketchup and mix well.
4. Add two rice bawls of white rice and 1 ketchup and mix well again.
Microwave the rice for 1 minute at 600 w when using cold rice. 冷やご飯の場合は600wで1分、チンしてね。

5. Sprinkle preferable amounts of garlic powder, and put in butter and chopped green beans. Divide the ketchup rice into 2 plates.

6. Grease a frying pan and heat it well. Pour 3 beaten eggs (for one person) into the pan. Swirl the pan and stir constantly with chopsticks or a fork while gathering small egg curds in the middle. Harden the egg mixture until half-cooked. Japanese eggs are sold fresh. You can eat them half-cooked.
If you don’t like half-cooked egg, panfry both sides of the egg sheet well. 半熟が嫌いな方は両面をよく焼いてください。

7. Slide the sheet onto the ketchup frid rice. Dress the omelets with ketchup. Draw a heart or your favorite shape. Go back to 6 and make another egg sheet again.

Ingredients
1 beet, diced.
50 cc mayonnaise
50g cream cheese
2 tbsp milk
garlic powder
1. Prepare your favorite vegetable on a salad plate such as steamed green beans and coarsely torn lettuce.
2. Mix diced beets, mayonnaise, cream cheese, a dash of garlic power, and milk in a blender . Adjust the thickness with milk.
