Stuck with kids for the weekend? Looking for an energy-burning outside fun? Well here’s your solution.
Nagasaki Prefectural Saikai Bridge Park, or Saikaibashi-Koen, offers lots of outside activities for kids of all ages.
Located on a mountain facing the sea (very Sasebo-like landscape!), you can also enjoy a great view.

Grass sled is closest from the parking lot in map below.
There are two parking lots, in front and behind a small mountain.
Play area is at the back of the mountain.
Go past the first parking after the bridge, take the first left, climb down a bit, then turn left at crossing.
If you park in the first parking lot, you’ll need to hike over the mountain to get to the play area (which can also be fun).
Grass sled is 200yen/hour. You can rent the sleds. Ask at office (next to bathroom).
