【 withコロナ …って英語圏でも使うの？ 】
最近よく聞く「with コロナ」という言葉。
英語で何というでしょうか？ 直訳すると、
with Corona Virus.
with COVID-19.
などになります。
けれども、これでは英語圏では通じません！実は 和製英語 って知ってましたか？
そこで、きちんと伝わる英語のフレーズを集めてみました！

今は with コロナの時代だ。
We’re in the age of living with COVID-19.
Now we’re in the age of the New Normal.
「コロナと共存する」の意味で使われる「with コロナ」。”with COVID-19″ だけでは「コロナと〇〇」という意味になり、「コロナと…なに？」という印象を与えます。
そこで live with Covid-19 や coexist with Corona Virus 、cope with COVID など、「〇〇」の部分を明確にする動詞を使うと、意味が通じます。
また、欧米では the new normal という言葉が一般化しているので、これで代用することもオススメです。

with コロナとともによく使われる「アフターコロナ」も、通じなくはないですが、英語圏ではpostを使った表現のほうが一般的です。
