It was a blast ! We attended Nakama-Language Exchange on Zoom. Nakama-Language Exchange is a regularly-held language exchange meeting hosted by Nakama Global Community. At the meeting, English and Japanese learners across the globe can get together on zoom and enjoy conversation. The admission fee is only 550 yen and it’s free for the first time attendees. What is more, it’s all time free for high school students !

They want many high school students to attend their meetings. たくさんの高校生に参加してほしいそうよ。
What is the meeting like? Zoomミーティングの流れ
Around 15 people joined the meeting on May 23. From local high students to Japanese learners in US, we could meet many interesting people. The flow of the meeting was like this below.
5月23日のミーティングでは、約15人が参加しました！ 長崎の高校生から日本語を学ぶアメリカ在住の方まで、いろんな人と会えましたよ。ミーティングの流れはこんな感じです。
First, we introduce one by one.

We separated into small groups, and asked questions each other using the list below. First we talked in English then changed to Japanese conversation.
小グループに分かれて、下のトピックについて質問し合いました。最初は英語でトーク。次に日本語で話します。

We really enjoyed a lot. There was enthusiasm from people who want to learn Japanese or English. It’s great to connect with people around the world while you are at home.
