Hario-Radio Towers are in the group of Radio Transmission facilities constructed by Imperial Japanese Navy in 1922. Three towers, 136m tall reinforced concrete buildings, are said to have been constructed with state of the art technology in those days. It took 4 years and cost 1.55 million yen, equivalent to 25 billion yen now, to complete these facilities. They are one of the most valuable modernization heritages in Japan, and designated as National Important Cultural Property. The spectacular view of 3 towers is really tremendous! Let’s visit and feel it.

大正１１年（１９２２）に日本海軍によって建設された無線送信施設群です。中でも高さ１３６ｍの３本の無線塔は、当時の最高技術を集めた鉄筋コンクリート建造物といわれます。
４年の歳月をかけて完成した本施設には、当時１５５万円を費やしました。これは現在の２５０億円に相当します。国内を代表する近代化遺産の一つです。
