Today’s English-friendly spot is Café “atelier H”.

Café ” atelier H is located in the downstairs area of a wedding hall at Gobangai. The sophisticated atmosphere might make you hesitate to enter, but no worries. Its delicious lunch is quite reasonably priced. You can eat a course lunch for only 1500 yen.

You can choose a main course out of three selections. It depends on the season, but the menu might include cream pasta with Omar shrimp or peperoncino with karasumi, a local specialty of Nagasaki. The raclette cheese burger is scrumptious. See the photo below. You will be fascinated by the ooey-gooey raclette cheese being poured on a burger.

The seaside restaurant opens lunch time only. Reservations are not required. The menu is currently in Japanese only, but English-speaking staff are available.
