【観光マイスターによる歴史遺産ツアー第二弾！/ 2nd historical heritage tour with Sasebo’s Tourism Meister!】
前回の丸出山観測所跡に続き、佐世保の観光マイスター（ゴールド）である吉川拓朗さんに、佐世保市近郊の歴史遺産を案内してもらいました！
Continuing from last trip to Marudeyama Battery Site, we went on another historical heritage tour with Sasebo’s “Gold Tourism Meister (Master of Sasebo Toursim) ” Takuro Yoshikawa!
今回向かった先は、西海市にある石原岳森林公園（いしはらだけしんりんこうえん）。明治時代に佐世保軍港の防備のため設置された石原岳堡塁跡(いしはらだけほうるい）を整備した公園として有名です。
今回の目的は、
① 堡塁跡を探検
② BBQ設備で護衛艦カレーを作って食べる
でした～！
Our destination this time was Ishiharadake Forest Park in Saikai city. It is a park with the remains of Ishiharadake Battery, which was set up to defend the Sasebo military port in the Meiji era.
Our objectives were to:
1. Explore around the site
2. Cook JMSDF’s famous destroyer curry!

【いざ、地下ダンジョン（？）へ！/ Entrance of what looks like a dungeon.】
- 内部にはコウモリがいるそうなので、要注意！（我々が行ったときはいませんでした）
- 気持ち悪い虫もいます…（襲ってはこない）
- 職員の方がいれば電気を付けていただけますが、不在の場合に備えて懐中電灯は必須！
- Beware of bats inside the battery! (we didn’t see any when we went)
- Gross-looking insects are there too… (they don’t attack you though)
- Bring flashlights in case park staff are absent to turn on the lights
【護衛艦カレーを作るよ！/ Let’s cook JMSDF Destroyer’s Curry!】
石原岳公園には無料で使える炊事場もあります（予約はコチラから）。ここで海上自衛隊の護衛艦カレーを作ります（主にタクローさんが）！
There’s a BBQ facility in the park (for reservation click HERE). And we (or mostly Takuro) are going to cook curry served on JMSDF Destroyer! (what is Destroyer curry? read HERE for reference)
今回は「護衛艦いせ」のアレンジレシピとのこと！
The recipe was an arranged version of Destroyer Ise’s curry!

堡塁探検はめちゃテンションあがる！自然が豊富だし、思いっきり走れるスペースもあるし、個人的にはお子さん連れにぴったりだと思いました！
Exploring the battery was so exciting! The park is surrounded by nature and you can run around freely. It’s perfect for families with children.
私はとにかくカレーが美味しすぎた！堡塁の長いトンネルは、変な虫に出会えるあたりも含めて、ハムナプトラだね。
Curry was simply amazing! The long tunnel down the battery was like “The Mummy”, including the fact that you get to meet weird insects.
