Toka Ebisu Festival in Sasebo
毎年１月１０日に佐世保市・亀山八幡宮で行われる十日恵比須大祭（とおかえびすたいさい）。
「大漁」「家内安全」「商売繁昌」の神様として昔から信仰されてきた恵比須様をお祝いし、招福開運、商売繁盛を祈願する大祭です。
そしてなんと、８０年の歴史と伝統を誇る名物行事なのです。

毎年１月１０日に行われる伝統行事
Toka Ebisu Festival (Toka Ebisu Taisai) is held at Kameyama Hachimangu Shrine in Sasebo on January 10th every year.
“Ebisu” is the god of fishery, peace to the household and business prosperity. This festival celebrates Ebisu and people gather to pray for good luck and good fortune.
It’s a famous event with 80 years of history and tradition!
