Today’s English-friendly spot is Cafe & Bar “Brooklyn BEACH”.
Actually, we’ve introduced this American-style bar last year on our Facebook page. This time, we wanted to let you know that Brooklyn BEACH has started offering café hours from 11:30am.
The café menu includes its famous smoothie (mix berry / pineapple & mango) which is served in a Corona beer bottle. You can also have hot chili wings (chicken wings) marinated with their own original spicy sauce! Shaved ice is a perfect choice on a hot summer day. The video is the shaved ice with espresso, whipped cream and oreo cookies!
English menus and English speakers are also available. The friendly people of Brooklyn Beach and the laid-back atmosphere makes you want to say, “Let’s chill out and have some fun here”

昨年、Facebookでも紹介したカフェバー「ブルックリンビーチ」。この春からは11時30からカフェタイムの営業が始まり、「夜は早く寝ちゃう」という人も行きやすくなりました。フルーツたっぷりのスムージー（イチゴ＆ Mix ベリー、パイナップル＆マンゴー）や自家製ソースを絡めたホットチリウィングがオススメ！ 暑い夏にチルしたい時にピッタリのカフェです。

最近、「チルする」 や「チルアウト」という表現を、目にするようになりました。語源は英語の “chill / chill out”。 chill は「（名詞）寒気、悪寒 / （動詞）～を冷やす」 の意味ですが、俗語を入れると意味が広く、ネイティブの会話によく出てきます。
1. 寒気、悪寒
I have a chill. 寒気がする。
2．落ち着く、 リラックスする（俗語）
Chill out! （=calm down) 落ち着いて！
