福井洞窟に行ったあとは、福井洞窟ミュージアムに立ち寄りました。洞窟から車で５分ほどの吉井支所・吉井地区コミュニティセンター内にあります。今年４月２８日にオープンしたばかりの、ピッカピカの施設です。
福井洞窟から出土した石器・土器などの出土品(国指定重要文化財を含む)が約400点も展示され、約1万9000年から1万年前の人々の暮らしが学べます。観覧料は無料なので、洞窟とセットでぜひ訪れたいところ。古代技術の体験コーナーは、お子さまが楽しめそう！古代の衣装を着てナウマンゾウと写真が撮れるコスプレ（？）スポットもありますよ 。
After we visited Fukui Cave, we dropped by Fukui Cave Museum which took about 5 minutes by car from the cave. The newly-opened museum is inside the building of Yoshii District Community Center.
Approximately 400 items excavated from the Fukui Cave are on display including national important cultural properties. The admission fee is free! It’s a must-see spot together with the cave. So then, You can learn deeper about the life of ancient people from 19,000 years to 10, 000 years ago. Its ancient artifact experience corner will be perfect one to amuse your children. You can wear ancient costumes and take pictures with a huge Naumann elephant. This is a good one for both adults and kids.
