A new type of pneumonia caused by Corona virus is showing signs of epidemic worldwide. Are you taking effective and correct measures against viruses?
Here’s a poster from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare created in 2017. It advocates the “Cough Etiquette“, or how NOT to spread flu and other viral infections through sneezing or coughing, featuring a Japanese manga series “Attack on Titan”.

Coughing manners in Japan/
咳エチケットを守ろう！
・cover your mouth and nose with upper part of your sleeve (not hands)
袖で口や鼻を覆う
・cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or handkerchief
ティッシュ・ハンカチで口や鼻を覆う
・wear a mask
マスクを付ける（口・鼻を覆う）
Above are defined as the Coughing Etiquette (manners) in Japan.
上記が日本では「咳エチケット」と定義されています。
In addition to above（感染症対策）：
・washing hands 手洗い
・disinfecting with alcohol アルコール消毒
・keeping high humidity 加湿
・refraining from going to crowded places 人混みに行かない
are said to be effective precautionary measures.
