Participants Wanted for International Team -Go!!-

“International Team -GO!!-” will be formed again after their successful performance last year. We, Sasebo E Channel will support their activity to help you communicate smoothly. The team’s concept is to broaden our mutual understanding of each other’s cultures through the Yosakoi dance. Don’t miss out on this awesome experience unique to Sasebo. Join us and show the power of international exchange to the world!

Application Category

We’ll be dancing to the simplest piece “DAIDEN! ~大伝海伝~! English ver.” Official instructors will teach you how to dance, how to make sounds with Naruko (wooden clappers), and how to enjoy. This year, we are recruiting not only dancers, but also flag-bearers, callers, and volunteer staff.

1. Dancers

– Kindergarteners and above
– 50 Japanese and 50 non-Japanese each.
*The dance is simple and easy!

2. Flag-bearers

– In charge of waving the flag during the performance.
– Junior high school students and above.
– 1 to 2 slots.

3. Callers

– In charge of firing up the audience and the dancers during the performance.
– Junior high school students and above.
– 1 to 2 slots.

4. Volunteer staff

– Those who don’t feel like dancing but want to support the team on the practice sessions and festival days.
– High school students and above.
– The participation fee is free!

Performance Schedule on the Festival Days

The main performances of International Team -GO!!- is Souodori 1km Parade on Saturday. and 100-Member Team Battle Stage on Sunday. In addition, we will be dancing at several stages around the town.

Trial and Practice Sessions Schedule

Before you register as a member, you can join a few trial sessions for free!

1. Sep. 7 (Sat.) AM 10:00 to 12:00
2. Sep. 21 (Sat.)AM 12:00 to 14:00
3. Sep. 28 (Sat.) AM10:00 to 12:00
4. Oct. 5 (Sat.) AM10:00 to 12:00
5. Oct. 12 (Sat.) AM10:00 to 12:00

Venue: Yamazumi Chiku Community Center, 3F Auditorium [MAP]


Eligible Applicants

①Dancers: 50 Japanese and 50 non-Japanese each.
*anyone who resides in Sasebo and its suburbs.
*Kindergarteners and above
②③Flag-bearers and Callers
*Junior high school students and above
④ Volunteer Staff (no dance is required)
*High school students and above

Participation Fee: 3,000 Yen
*incl. entry fee, venue fee, instruction fee, sports insurance, etc.
Free for ④ volunteer staff.

Costume・Naruko
Team original Happi coat: 5,000 Yen.
Naruko (small wooden clappers) can be purchased for around 1500 to 2000 yen.

インターナショナルチームーGO!!- がYOSAKOIさせぼ祭りに帰ってくる!

国際交流をテーマとしたYOSAKOIチーム「インターナショナルチーム-GO!!-」が今年も結成されることになりました! Sasebo E Channel もチーム運営をサポートします。チームキャプテンのジェイソンさんを中心に、外国人メンバーもたくさん参加予定。YOSAKOI踊りを通して、佐世保だからできる国際交流の形を世界に発信しませんか?

曲は初心者でもカンタンに踊れる『DAIDEN~大伝外伝~』の英語版!幼稚園以上から誰でも参加可能です!

今年は、旗士、煽り手、チームを支えるサポートスタッフも募集します。

■募集対象/①踊り子 佐世保近隣在住の日本人、外国人50名ずつ。
      (※幼稚園以上〜大人)
②③旗士・煽り手(若干名、中学生以上、国籍問いません)
④サポートスタッフ(高校生以上、国籍問いません)
■参加費/一人 3,000円
(※練習会場費・音響費・指導費・祭り参加費・スポーツ保険等を含みます。)
④サポートスタッフは参加費無料です。
■衣装・鳴子/衣装(チームオリジナル法被)1着5000円。鳴子は注文販売いたします(1500~2000円程度)。
