We went to “Sasebo Note” , a newly opened cafe off the arcade. When we opened the door, a legendary saxophone player, John Coltrane’s music was playing in the background. Musical instruments, stereos, and jazz magazines were displayed in the shop. And the staff was so friendly. It must suddenly grab jazz lover’s hearts.
昨年末、オープンした葉港町珈琲｢サセボノオト｣に行ってきました！ ドアを開けると流れていたのは、伝説のサックス奏者ジョン・コルトレーンの曲！ 店内には楽器やジャズの雑誌が並んでいて、スタッフはとてもフレンドリー。どうやらここは音楽好きを笑顔にするお店のようです。
Since the owner have run a coffee shop in Simanose Art Center for years, the taste of its coffee is guaranteed. Its specialty is the photogenic pancake. Nuts and whipped cream go well with the cake.
オーナーは島瀬美術センターのノマドコーヒーを運営されている方のため、コーヒーのおいしさは折り紙付き。フォトジェニックな葉港町パンケーキは、ナッツと生クリームと絶妙にマッチしています。
English Menus are available. It offers light meals, appetizers, snacks, and alcoholic/soft drinks as well as cafe drinks. Homemade roast duck was so tasty! (I forgot to take the picture though…)
メニューは英語の表記もあり。 音楽家のチキンカレー、ナシゴレン、ホットサンドなど軽食メニューが豊富。アルコールやおつまみもありますよ。 自家製鴨ローストは絶品でした！
The space is large enough to accommodate around 25 people. Band performances are held irregularly at night. Not only will it satisfy jazz lovers, but also it has a truly welcome atmosphere that everyone can drop in. ” Comfy ” is the best fit word to this place.
カウンター席も入れると、席数はかなりあります。不定期で音楽ライブも行われているそう。ジャズ 通にとってうれしい空間でありつつ、音楽を知らなくても気軽に入れる雰囲気なのがグー。 ｢心地いい｣、そんな言葉がしっくりくるお店でした。
