On Sun Mar 24, 2019, the first skateboard park in Sasebo opened within walking distance from the main Base.
The new area is as an extension to Sasebo Park, next to the BBQ area adjacent to Nimitz Park.
It is the first public skateboard park in Sasebo.
It also has a 3on3 basketball court.
